This expansive property, perched atop the Sky Valley mountains, called out for a blend of both rustic and modern touches in keeping with the entirety of the home. During demolition, it was discovered that some eleven windows had been painted and closed over. The windows were all reclaimed and helped to become a focal point for the room.. The room was completed with a variety of finishes and textures including stone, Venetian plastered walls, custom steel and antiqued brass cabinetry. We also sourced reclaimed hand-hewn beams for the ceiling. The project also included the installation of a fireplace with a modern firebox, under the new found windows. This wine lounge retreat now feels modern, rustic and relaxing as if it had always been in the home.
